Event Greening
To assist in the greening of local events, Cumberland Joint Services has a sorting station for event organizers to use to help ensure proper separation of waste materials.  This container is free for event organizers to use and it allows for the separation of organics, recyclables, refundables, and garbage. Program Particulars 1. Event Greening containers are free of charge. 2. Free delivery and pick up is available, if required. 3. Each bin is provided with 1 complimentary bag. Borrower’s Responsibilities 1. All waste generated at the event is the responsibility of the event organizers and therefore must be disposed of by the event organizers, including the recyclables and organics. 2. All containers must be emptied prior to pick up or return. 3. Cumberland Joint Services will not remove the waste generated from the event. Tips on how to make separating a success at your event 1. Place the sorting station in a high traffic area. 2. Event organizers should ensure that any vendors are aware of municipal/provincial sorting requirements. 3. Monitor the station as much as possible to ensure minimal contamination.

Signage We can create signs, specific to your business, to help with proper source separation.  Signage is a great tool to any successful source separation program.
